Photoepilation is a type of hair removal that uses light to achieve hair removal with more effective long-term results.
We use a type of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) known as BBL (BroadBand Light) because it encompasses many wavelengths to achieve selective treatment on all skin types. Specifically, the new HERO version (High Energy Rapid Output) or high energy rapid output, guarantees faster treatment and higher energy than its predecessors.
We also use a Nd:YAG laser for the treatment of dark skin.
Photoepilation respects the tissue that surrounds the hair, which is why a highly selective treatment is carried out in which the target is the hair follicle.
Hair removal with either laser (coherent light sources) or non-coherent light (IPL) is highly effective in the long term. The results are conditioned by sex, age, body location of the treatment and hair and skin morphology. Areas such as the groin or the pubic region and lower legs offer definitive results in a few sessions.
Other areas such as the facial region (in women and men) or the chest, abdomen and back region in men offer very satisfactory results, making it the most effective form of long-term hair removal but may require widely spaced refresher sessions. in time if complete hair removal is desired.
